As the end of another school year draws to a close, students and families at Pivot Charter Schools eagerly anticipate upcoming graduation ceremonies. These special events always fill us with bittersweet emotions—we will miss our wonderful graduating class, yet we are excited to celebrate them as they prepare to transition from high school to the next phase of their lives!
Graduation is an important occasion for all students, but for those who have attended Pivot Charter Schools, it represents an extraordinary achievement that is celebrated through the time-honored tradition of the Pivot rose ceremony. During the ceremony, each graduate presents a rose of gratitude to an individual who made a significant impact on their life and played a part in their arrival to this moment. Each graduate may also share their thoughts honoring the individual who received their rose—a reminder of the boundless potential of every student and a testament to the transformative power of their educational experience at Pivot.
“These upcoming graduations represent a new chapter in the lives of our seniors, and we congratulate them on their amazing achievements,” said Jayna Gaskell, Executive Director. “We are so proud of all their hard work, and we know they are well-prepared for all the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.”
This year’s graduation ceremony will take place at Santa Rosa Junior College on Thursday, June 8.
