College & Career Opportunities2024-08-26T03:02:59+00:00

Part of what makes Pivot great are all the opportunities in our programming for students to take control of their own education. In our spirit to empower students to find their passions and forge their future paths tuition-free, Pivot has strengthened partnerships with our local community colleges so that students have access to a wider variety of courses and opportunities that they can bring with them after they graduate..

Pivot secured an agreement with California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) and Sonoma State University (SSU) that guarantees admission for all students who complete A-G requirements. Read more about this opportunity and Pivot’s partnership with CSUSM.

Pivot is also thrilled to announce the implementation of the State Seal of Biliteracy and the Golden State Seal Merit Diploma(GSSMD) to all Pivot Charter Schools as well as ongoing efforts for Pivot campuses to administer and receive scores for AP, PSAT/NMSQT, SAT, and ACT examinations.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is Concurrent Enrollment2024-08-26T02:57:14+00:00

Concurrent enrollment allows high school students to take college courses while still enrolled in high school. At Pivot Charter School, students can earn both high school and college credits simultaneously by participating in this program. It provides an opportunity to experience college-level coursework, explore various academic interests and potentially reduce the time and cost of earning a college degree after high school graduation.

What is Dual Enrollment?2024-08-26T02:56:11+00:00

Dual enrollment refers to a program where students are enrolled in both Pivot Charter School and a partner college or university at the same time. This program enables students to earn credits that count towards both their high school diploma and a college degree. Dual enrollment is designed to offer advanced learning opportunities, help students transition smoothly to college and may provide financial benefits, as tuition and fees for these courses are often reduced or covered.

What is Guaranteed Admission?2024-08-26T02:55:37+00:00
